Position Overview
The Assistant Site Security Manager will assist the Site Security Manager in supervising staff that are monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. A proactive approach and keen observation skills will help prevent incidents and respond effectively to emergencies.
The Assistant Site Security Manager position is located and will report daily on-site in the Monahans, TX area.
Duties
- Operational Management:
- Assist in day-to-day security operations.
- Assist in ensuring that guards are deployed, trained, and scheduled appropriately to meet client requirements.
- Conduct routine evaluations to review guard performance and address operational challenges.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Assist the Site Security Manager in serving as clients' primary point of contact, ensuring their security needs are met.
- Assist in addressing and resolving client concerns promptly while maintaining professional communication.
- Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of security plans, and suggesting improvements, as needed.
- Ensure briefings and reporting deliverables are timely and high quality.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Assist in leading and mentoring staff in the recruitment, onboarding, and training guards in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to ensure team excellence.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Assist the Site Security Manager in ensuring all guards comply with federal, state, and local laws, including licensing and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard personnel and assets.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all security operations, including - but not limited to - incident reports, training records, and compliance audits.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 7 years’ experience with security operations, 3 of which in leadership role
- Bachelor’s degree or two of the following:
- Associate’s degree
- 3 years’ military with Honorable Discharge
- Graduate of national, state, or local law enforcement academy
- Additional 2 years of management/leadership experience
- Possess current Texas noncommissioned security officer license and have completed the DPS-required Level II training course and test, preferred.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable motor-vehicle record.
- Able to meet all licensing, training, and other qualification requirements of the contract

This compensation range is specific to Monahans, TX and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Osen-Hunter, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $32.00 per hour.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
