Pharmacy Technician Trainee II

To provide appropriate training for Pharmacy Tech position which facilitates operational efficiencies by providing assistance to pharmacists through procuring, processing, and distributing information and pharmaceuticals.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Detail and accuracy oriented

Ability to work effectively with a variety of clinical staff and personalities

Licensure, Registration, Certification: 

Current Registry with the Alabama Board of Pharmacy

One of the following:

• Completion of an Alabama Board of Pharmacy approved technician training program
• Registry with the Alabama Board of Pharmacy prior to January 1^st, 2020

2 of the most recent 4 years’ experience working as a pharmacy technician

Desired Qualifications: 

Licensure, Registration, Certification: 

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)

National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certification
