Overview


Responsibilities

Assist in the continuity of patient care delivery within an assigned area by providing direct personal care, rehabilitative measures, and supportive services.  Focuses on prevention measures to reduce pressure injury and applies prevention principles of Braden Intervention.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

 

Successful completion of one of the following: 

  • Nursing Assistant Program
  • Medical Assistant Program
  • 1 of the most recent 3 years’ experience in a patient care environment

Licensure, Registration, Certification:

 

BLS

In designated areas Certified Nursing Assistant is required

 

Desired Qualifications: 

 

Working knowledge of Nursing Assistant functions
