Overview

Responsibilities

  • Will coordinate with the appropriate persons and/or entities to gain approvals or denials for learners to complete learning experiences within USA Health's facilities.
  • Will identify and be able to discern between student types and understand how to process/coordinate accordingly.
  • Will create and maintain a registry of all potential learning environments (to include spaces, preceptors, and available learner slots).
  • Will create and maintain a list of all learners at USA Health.
  • Will collaborate with USA Health's and other appropriate legal departments to ensure up-to-date clinical affiliation agreements and certificates of liability insurance are current and active for all learners.
  • Will collect appropriate documentation required for student learners (included, but not limited to, vaccinations and other required information).
  • Will initiate the assigning of, and will verify/document the completion of, required education and/or modules for all qualified learners.
  • Will continually create, maintain, and optimize processes for learner coordination.
  • Will perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Staff Development (or other department if moved), including but not limited to, tracking and assigning educational assignments in
  • HealthStream, paperwork associated with ABN CEUs, and other secretarial type duties.
  • Will create and help maintain organized digital files/records for learner coordination, as well as other items for the department.
  • Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
  • Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards
  • Regular and prompt attendance
  • Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
  • Related duties as assigned

  • Additional Information

    Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.
    Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of related experience. Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, business, administration, or a related field will substitute for the required experience. Experience in a healthcare setting Preferred
  • Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
