WGM Group is seeking an HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team in Missoula, MT. This position plays a key role in supporting employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle while helping ensure our HR programs, processes, and policies are effective, compliant, and employee-focused. 
 
 As part of a collaborative HR team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, employee support, compliance, and HR operations. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and creating a positive experience for employees at every stage of their career with WGM.

 What You Will Do

• Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and candidate communications. 
 • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience. 
 • Administer leave programs, including FMLA and other protected leaves. 
 • Support employee benefit programs, open enrollment, and employee education efforts. 
 • Serve as a resource to employees and managers regarding HR policies, benefits, and employment-related questions. 
 • Maintain HR records and administer HR systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. 
 • Coordinate performance review processes and support employee development initiatives. 
 • Assist with compliance activities, audits, reporting, and continuous improvement of HR programs and processes.

 What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
 • 2-5 years of progressive HR experience, including recruiting, benefits, leave administration, or HR compliance. 
 • Working knowledge of HR best practices and applicable employment laws and regulations.
 • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
 • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. 
 • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. 
 • Experience with HRIS platforms; ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus. 
 • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR credential, or desire to pursue professional certification.
