Water Resources Intern


Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Water Resources Intern to join our Renewables team. The qualified individual will support permitting, design, and construction of Solar, Wind, and Battery Storage projects across the country. This position will coordinate with other Civil and Water Resources Engineers to ensure projects are protected from flooding and meet storm-water regulations. Ideal for students working towards a civil engineering degree (or related field). Who We’re Looking For:

  • Students working towards a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or related field), eager to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting.
  • A self-starter, open to learn, adaptable to change, and thrives in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
  • Candidates with a strong foundation in technical writing and communication, proficient in Microsoft Office and PDF editing tools, who can develop and maintain relationships with peers, clients, and public agency staff.

Your Role with Us: This is a full-time, in-office position where your work will directly contribute to our team's success. You will be responsible for a range of tasks from hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to preparing detailed reports. While this role does not have supervisory responsibilities, it offers a pathway to significant professional development within a supportive and energetic team environment.
