WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DOĀ
Ā
Interact with guests in a natural, friendly demeanorĀ
Cultivate regular guests and repeat businessĀ
Successfully complete a pour test prior to every shift, where applicableĀ
Suggestively sell both beverages and menu items to guests at the barĀ
Deliver food items and beverage orders promptlyĀ
Prioritize and organize drink ordersĀ
Consistently prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications, abide by all control systemsĀ
Record any equipment failure and/or safety hazards in bar logĀ
Recognize when guests are becoming too intoxicated and refuse further service of alcohol in a courteous and safety-minded manner, bringing it to the attention of a managerĀ
Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance alcohol awareness training andĀ HOBĀ alcohol policiesĀ
Request proper identification for anyone appearing under 30 years of ageĀ
Maintain HOB safety and sanitation standardsĀ
Perform Opening/Running/Closing duties according toĀ HOBĀ policyĀ
Prepare guest checks (on point of sales terminal) and process payment according toĀ HOBĀ policyĀ
Maintain bartender bankĀ
Perform cash pull / check out proceduresĀ
Maintain appropriate Comp and Spill checksĀ
Required to occasionally work Special Events that are scheduled throughout the venueĀ

Required:Ā
(State or County Licensee or Certification Requirement)/Ā Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or EquivalentĀ
Ability to work late hoursĀ
Flexible scheduleĀ
Cash handling experienceĀ
Must be able to lift or move up to 25Ā lbsĀ using proper lifting techniquesĀ
Skill in interpersonal communication and teamworkĀ
Physically able to pass a pour test and a mixology drill (timed)Ā Ā
Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded mannerĀ
Tolerance of all cultures, music and art formsĀ
Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or EquivalentĀ
Ā
Preferred:Ā Ā
4Ā yearsĀ work experience in high volume environmentĀ
Experience recognizing valid IDāsĀ
Experience in a live music environmentĀ
Ā
Physical Demands/Working Environment:Ā
Working environment isĀ fast-paced, often loud and stressfulĀ
Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feetĀ Ā

The expected compensation for this position is:
$16.37 USD Hourly** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
