This takes hard work and innovation, and we need more like-minded people on our team.

About the Role

We’re looking for a client-service-focused professional to join our team as Capping Specialist. In this role, you will manage complex and high-priority capping activities for at-risk and top-tier clients, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing while delivering a white-glove client experience. You will serve as a subject-matter resource for escalated capping, billing, taxation, payment, and vehicle acquisition issues, proactively identifying risks, resolving exceptions, and coordinating across internal teams and external partners. The role directly influences client retention and satisfaction, financial accuracy, cost control, billing integrity, regulatory compliance, and vendor payment timeliness.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the review, audit, and reconciliation of complex or high-priority vehicle acquisition documents, vendor invoices, taxes, fees, and billing transactions for at-risk and top-tier clients, ensuring accurate cap calculations, compliance, and timely completion.
  • Lead research and resolution of escalated payment, billing, VIN, registration, tax, and account reconciliation discrepancies; perform root-cause analysis, recommend solutions, and proactively communicate status, risks, and next steps.
  • Provide white-glove support for assigned at-risk and top-tier clients by partnering closely with FPS, Acquisitions, Title & Registration, Accounting, vendors, and client-facing teams to anticipate needs, coordinate resolutions, and prevent service disruptions.
  • Serve as a capping subject-matter resource by identifying trends and control gaps, supporting process improvements, sharing best practices, and assisting associates with complex transactions or exceptions.
  • Maintain systems and documentation, ensure adherence to internal controls and policies, and perform other operational duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, Finance, Fleet Operations, Capping Operations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience resolving complex financial, billing, reconciliation, or operational discrepancies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience communicating complex issues to internal stakeholders or clients.
  • Ability to provide high-touch service while managing sensitive, urgent, or escalated client situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: College/University degree preferred.
  • Fleet management, vehicle acquisition, or capping experience.
  • Experience supporting strategic, top-tier, or at-risk client accounts.
