Hosts & Server- IHOP

LV Petroleum is looking for friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Hosts/Hostesses and Servers to join our onsite dining team. These roles are responsible for creating a welcoming environment, providing excellent guest service, and ensuring customers have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.

Host/Hostess

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Manage the seating of guests and maintain an organized flow throughout the dining area.
• Provide menus and communicate daily specials, promotions, and other information.
• Answer guest questions and assist with requests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain clean and organized entry, waiting, and dining areas.
• Assist servers and other team members as needed during busy periods.

Server

• Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit.
• Take customer orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen.
• Provide information about menu items, specials, and promotions.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and ensure orders are accurate.
• Check on guests throughout their meal and promptly address questions or concerns.
• Process customer payments accurately, including cash and credit cards.
• Clear and reset tables and maintain a clean, organized dining area.
• Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, and other supplies as needed.

• Work closely with kitchen staff, servers, hosts, and management to provide efficient service.
• Assist teammates during busy periods and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant for every guest.

• Friendly and positive attitude with a passion for customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous when handling customer concerns.
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

• Previous experience in a food service or customer service role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess a positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

• Food safety certification is a plus, but training will be provided.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service is essential.
