Summary: The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct behavioral intervention services to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT implements individualized treatment plans using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to promote skill acquisition, reduce challenging behaviors, and support client independence across clinical settings. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred). Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Completion of required competency assessment and background clearances. Ability to pass CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain upon hire). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow detailed treatment protocols consistently. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Experience in clinical, educational, or therapeutic settings. Skills: Leadership and soft skills: Excellent communication and relationship building skills Ability to work effectively on a multi-treatment team Technical skills: Proficient in numerous clinical interventions Knowledge of and ability to access community resources Work Environment: This job operates in a Clinic-Based ABA Therapy facility in Milwaukee, WI Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred Certification: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification required Experience: Previous behavior management experience preferred Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
