We are seeking a full-timeSalesAdministratorto support the strengthening and growth of Melink’s relationships with existing National Account customers, and to support the sales growth of our Services Business Unit. This role helps ensure customer satisfaction, identifies expansion and new- business opportunities, and delivers consistent value through strong service execution, data-driven insights, and proposal and order support. This position reports to the Customer Success Manager, with a close working relationship to the Sales Manager, Business Development Managers, Customer Operations Managers, and National Account Managers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the retention, satisfaction, and growth of assigned National Account customers through proactive success practices and provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally.
  • Assist the Business Development Managers with identifying prospects and qualifying leads for Melink’s offerings.
  • Analyze customer data including punch-list/deficiency log data, scope history, customer financial reports, and performance metrics to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Evaluate mechanical plans to develop estimates and sales proposals for customers.
  • Partner with the Customer Success Manager, Customer Operations Managers, and National Account Managers to prepare insights, reports, and recommendations for customer reviews and growth planning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Operations, Field Service, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and other teams to ensure customer needs are understood and addressed.
  • Support quoting, project tracking, and follow-up for expansion opportunities within existing customers; own the order management process for new business, turning construction schedules and requests into sales orders.
  • Monitor customer experience and escalate issues appropriately while supporting resolution, referring complex inquiries to the Business Development Managers as needed.
  • Assist the Business Development Manager in transitioning new accounts to the National Account Team.
  • Maintain accurate customer and prospect records, documentation, and reporting within CRM and ERP systems.
  • Track recurring issues and customer feedback and recommend service or process improvements.
  • Create and maintain customer process documentation and internal playbooks.
  • Support internal reporting, dashboards, and performance tracking.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks from different new and existing business customers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects, identifying and implementing efficiencies.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Analytics, Operations, Entrepreneurship, Communications, or Engineering/Industrial Technologies); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service, account support, customer success, sales support, or a related role preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret mechanical plans and construction documentation (with training).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve conflicts calmly in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and willingness to learn and take ownership.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel (Excel proficiency preferred).
  • Experience with CRM or ERP systems (SAP preferred but not required).
