Lube Technician/Mechanic Assistant

Job DetailsJob Location: Midland, TX 79706JOB SUMMARY Under general supervision, the Lube Technicians maintains a variety of equipment including diesel engines, heavy trucks, pumping equipment, lifting equipment and other oilfield related equipment.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Cleans, lubricates, and performs other routine maintenance work on the fleet. Operates and inspects machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects. Examines parts for damage or excessive wear, may assist in repairing and replacing damaged or worn parts. Tests mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer’s specifications. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Inspect, adjust, and replace necessary units and related parts. Clean and maintain the work area and equipment. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or equivalent. Good computer skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Multi-tasking ability. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work flexible work schedule, including long and/or irregular hours.   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to continuously stand & walk Ability to sit for long periods of time Frequently push & pull Occasionally bend & stoop Requires repeated heavy lifting of up to 75 lbs Working outside in variable weather conditions to include heat, humidity, cold & wind.
