Scope
Job Summary
Oversees the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of gas compression systems across a regional production area. Coordinates contractor activities, ensures safety compliance, and supports troubleshooting, reporting, and training efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Operations and Maintenance
  • Perform daily compressor and facility operations.
  • Troubleshoot field issues on-site and through remote monitoring.
  • Schedule and coordinate compressor repairs.
  • Maintain accurate downtime and extended-outage reporting.
Field Oversight and Compliance
  • Supervise 10–30 contractors and ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.
  • Audit JSAs and contractor compliance with company safety policies.
  • Conduct inspections, purging, and LDAR activities.
  • Use work platforms to create and assign vendor work requests.
Training and Collaboration
  • Interact daily with foremen, operators, mechanics, and contractors.
  • Support tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
  • Compressor operations, diagnostics, and facility maintenance experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with remote-monitoring platforms and reporting systems preferred.
Soft Skills
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Safety-focused, proactive, and detail-oriented.
