The receptionist will be responsible for greeting and assisting visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining visitor sign-in procedures, and answering incoming phone calls both through desk phones and switchboard as well as other administrative support tasks.Â
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain visitor sign-in procedures and issue visitor badges as required.
- Answer incoming phone calls both through desk phones and Switchboard.
- Provide general inquiries and accurate information to individuals and appropriate personnel.
- Assist with data entry, and organizational tasks.
- Schedule training and conference rooms.
- Handle routine issues and inquiries efficiently and professionally.
- Escalate concerns or unusual situations to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Ensure reception areas are organized and presentable at all times.Â
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Previous office experience preferred.
- Good telephone techniques and communication skills.
- Strong ability to handle multiple tasks, such as incoming calls, guests and faxes.
- Must possess ability to act competently in a crisis situation while maintaining a calm and professional manner.
- Ability to be cooperative with other employees to ensure a smooth running, effective office operation.
