Position Summary:
The Learning and Talent Management Systems Administrator owns Knight-Swift Supply Chain's (KSSC) enterprise talent technology end to end — leading the implementation, configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of Cornerstone Learning, Performance, Succession, and Talent Marketplace modules. This role is the single accountable owner for the platform that carries the Talent Portfolio into every facility, turning talent programs into consistent, measurable, and auditable experiences for every Team Member regardless of site, shift, or role.
Beyond implementation, the Administrator sustains the system as a living business capability — managing the annual talent cycle, maintaining data integrity and security, building the reporting that leaders use to make talent decisions, and evolving the platform as the organization grows. Partnering closely with Talent Management, Human Resources, Business Excellence, and Information Technology this role translates business needs into system solutions and protects the quality, accuracy, and usability of the talent data KSSC relies on, bringing Ownership and Quality to life in the systems that support our people.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as system administrator and functional owner for Cornerstone across all modules —Learning, Performance, Succession, and Talent Marketplace— owning end-to-end configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Leads day-to-day execution of the Cornerstone implementation in partnership with the vendor implementation team, Talent Management, Human Resources, Information Technology, andBusiness Excellence, managing configuration workbooks,buildingtasks, testing cycles, issue logs, and go-live readiness against the project plan.
- Configures andmaintainssystem architecture including organizational units, position and location hierarchies, user records, permissions, security roles, workflows, approval paths,emailtemplatesand business rules so that access and reporting accurately reflect KSSC's structure across all facilities and regions.
- Owns data governance for the platform: data mapping, loads, validation, audits, and ongoing integrity monitoring across employee, learning, performance, and succession records.
- Builds, tests, andmaintainsintegrations between Cornerstone and the core HRIS, single sign-on, content providers, and downstream reporting environments in partnership with Information Technology.
- Designs, builds, andmaintainsstandard and ad hoc reports and dashboards that give leaders visibility into completion, compliance, competency, performance, and succession data, turning system data into decision-ready insight.
- Manages the learning catalog end to end, including course loading, curricula, learning objects, versioning, assignments, prerequisites, certifications, recurrence, and retirement, along with SCORM/AICC/xAPIpublishing and troubleshooting.
- Administers assignment logic and automation such as dynamic groups, learning assignments, notifications, reminders, and escalations to reduce manual administration for Talent Management, Human Resources, andPeople Leaders.
- Owns the annualtalent cyclewithin the system — goal periods, check-ins, mid-year and annual reviews, development plans, talent review sessions, and succession planning events — configuring, launching,monitoring, and closing each cycle.
- Serves as tier-one support for system users, troubleshooting issues, resolving tickets, managing escalations with the vendor, andmaintaininga knowledge base of resolutions and known issues.
- Partners with Talent Management to develop and deliver end-user training and enablement for system administrators, People Leaders, HRPartners, andTeam Members, including quick reference guides, job aids, and virtual sessions that drive adoption at go-live and beyond.
- Owns release management by evaluating scheduled vendor releases, testing new functionality in a staging environment, assessing organizational impact, and communicating and deploying changes.
- Partners with the Instructional Design team to ensure learning content is built, published, tracked, and reported to standard, protecting design capacity to focus on content quality rather than system administration.
- Maintains system documentation, standard operating procedures, configuration records, and audit trails to support internal governance, ISO 9001 documentation requirements, and customer or regulatory audits.
- Monitors adoption andutilizationdata and recommends configuration, process, or communication changes that improve engagement and realize return on the platform investment.
- Partners with Talent Management leadership to translate business needs into system solutions and to build andmaintaina multi-year talent technology roadmap.
- Stays current with Cornerstone product capability, talent technology trends, and data privacy and security best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, Education, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- 5+ years of experience administering an enterprise learning or talent management system (Cornerstone strongly preferred), including direct involvement inimplementation, migration, or major module launch.
- Demonstrated experience configuring system security, permission sets, organizational hierarchies, workflows, approval routing, and automated assignment logic.
- Strong reporting and data analysis skills, including building custom reports and dashboards,validatingdata integrity, and presenting findings to leadership; advanced Excelproficiencyrequired.
- Experience publishing and troubleshooting SCORM, AICC, orxAPIcontent; familiarity with authoring tools such as Articulate 360 preferred.
- Experience supporting system integrations with HRIS and single sign-on platforms in partnership with Information Technology.
- Project management skills with proven ability to manage concurrent workstreams, timelines, dependencies, and vendor relationships.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and comfort owning ambiguity in a build-from-scratch environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical system concepts for non-technical audiences ranging from Warehouse Team Members to Executive Leadership.
- Ability to develop and deliver end-user training, job aids, and system documentation.
- Experience in warehousing,logistics, manufacturing, or a similar multi-site operational environment preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Primarily sedentary work with extended periods of computer use.
- Occasionally required to lift and transport equipment or training materials (up to 25lbs).
Work Environment:
- Primarily office-basedwithoccasional time on the warehouse floor to understand operational context and support end users.
Travel Requirements:
- Limited travelrequired,approximatelyupto10% of thetime,for go-live support, administrator training, or system rollout activities.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None. Serves as the functional owner of theLearningandTalent Management System and works cross-functionally with Talent Management, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Operations.
