Welder – 1st & 2nd Shift
Mequon, WI
1st Shift -Â 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, overtime opportunity, Saturdays not mandatory
2nd Shift - 2:30 pm – 11:00 ($3.00 per hour for 2nd shift, applied on top of base pay)
Pay $25.00 - $35.00 per hour based on shift and experience

What You'll Do
As a Welder, you will fabricate and weld steel components and assemblies used in a variety of manufacturing applications. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- MIG welding carbon steel components and fabricated assemblies
- Setting up, fitting, and positioning parts prior to welding
- Reading blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions
- Using measuring tools to verify dimensions and proper fit-up
- Inspecting your work for weld quality, accuracy, and overall workmanship
- Making adjustments, repairs, or rework when necessary
- Operating welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Performing basic equipment setups and routine maintenance
- Working with production and quality teams to keep jobs moving on schedule
- Maintaining a clean and safe workstation
- Following company safety procedures and quality requirements
- Assisting with other fabrication or welding processes as needed
What We're Looking For
- Previous MIG welding experience
- Experience welding steel in a manufacturing, fabrication, or similar environment
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Knowledge of weld symbols and basic welding specifications
- Ability to perform part fit-up and prepare assemblies for welding
- Comfortable using common welding, fabrication, and measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a production team
- Ability to safely lift, move, and position materials as required by the job
Formal welding training, an apprenticeship, or AWS/ASME welding certifications are helpful but not required for all candidates. TIG welding experience is also a plus.
