Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Intern at our Mechanicsburg, PA facility for the Spring 2027 semester. This is a part-time, onsite position designed for students looking to gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations, process improvement, data analysis, and manufacturing while completing their studies. What will you do?
- Conduct time studies and data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Work directly on the manufacturing floor to support process improvement initiatives, 5S activities, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve workflows, standard processes, and overall productivity.
- Develop reports, presentations, and performance metrics to communicate findings and provide visibility into improvement opportunities.
- Support continuous improvement projects by collecting and analyzing data, documenting processes, and providing data-driven recommendations.
- Participate in projects focused on improving efficiency, organization, and overall operational performance.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate findings, ideas, and recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Interest or experience in process improvement, time studies, 5S, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to develop clear reports and presentations.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships.
- Self-motivated learner with an interest in supply chain, manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work onsite during business hours while balancing academic commitments.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD $23 to $27.50 per hour. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.
