Job Summary

The Liability Supervisor will lead and mentor a group of 6-8 liability and/or Casualty adjusters. In this role you will ensure quality and adherence to company guidelines through regular auditing and coaching.

Job Responsibilities

路 Manage group of 6-8 liability and/or Casualty adjusters.

路 Conduct monthly audits with senior leadership to ensure quality and adherence to company guidelines as well as any applicable state and federal laws.

路 Assist senior management in development of process and training to improve overall quality and key metric results.

路 Provide authority as warranted on liability and casualty claims.

路 Ensure adherence to company reserving practices.

路 Effective retention planning; proactively manage and respond to turnover.

路 Effectively and efficiently manage allocated loss adjustment expenses.

路 Effectively utilize reward system to distinguish top performers and significant achievements.

路 Conduct performance management as warranted.

Job Qualifications

Formal Education & Certification

Associates or bachelor鈥檚 Degree required.

Adjuster Licensing as required by state.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years handling non-standard insurance claims.
  • Prior supervisory experience of a minimum of one-year a plus.

Skills & Compentencies

  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrative ease with both verbal and written formats.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • A high degree of motivation and team orientation.
