Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for CNC vertical and Swiss Lathe departments
- Supervise and coordinate CNC machinists and operators
- Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery
- Troubleshoot machine, tooling and process issues
- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities
- Review and implement process improvements
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and company procedures
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards
Essential Skills and Experience:
- CNC machining experience, both vertical and Swiss lathes
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and machining processes
- Solid understanding of speeds, feeds, tooling selection, and work holding for a variety of materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering specifications
- Supervisory and leadership experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing a plus
- High school diploma; Technical training/certification a plus
