Build real relationships. Make an impact you can see. What You'll Do As an LPN with Four Oaks in Mason City, you'll help support the medical and overall health needs of youth in our care. You'll work alongside program staff and healthcare providers to make sure each young person receives the care, medication, services, and support they need. Your day may include: Administering medications safely, accurately, and on time. Building positive and trusting relationships with the youth in our care. Assessing medical needs and responding to health concerns. Providing medical triage and determining when additional medical care is needed. Coordinating medical, psychiatric, and psychological appointments and services. Managing physician orders, appointments, and related documentation. Overseeing medication management procedures, including distribution, storage, and return of prescribed medications. Maintaining accurate and organized medical records. Providing TB testing within established guidelines. Helping maintain healthy and safe practices throughout the program. Providing health-related education and training to youth and staff. Conducting training in areas such as CPR, First Aid, and health education. Reviewing medication errors and participating in continuous quality improvement. Recognizing and appropriately reporting medical, safety, or public health concerns. Providing nursing oversight related to established safety and behavioral protocols. Responding to periodic on-call needs during daytime and overnight hours. Looking for Something Different in Nursing?
