2^nd Shift Mold Maintenance Technician

           We are looking for a Mold Maintenance Technician in the 2^nd Shift Mold Maintenance Department.

General Summary:

Support department members.  Perform specific duties according to pre-established procedures.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance activities on injection molds
• Perform preventive maintenance activities on Rim molds
• Participate in shop related continuous improvement activities
• Document all results and actions using shop reporting systems

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to safely operate the overhead crane
• Ability to disassemble clean and reassemble injection and rim molds
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of mold tooling
• Understanding of plastics
• Proficient at Mig and Tig welding
• Knowledge of precision measuring devices
• Experience using manual mill, lathe, surface grinder
