Job Summary
The Product Photographer is a vital position at Blade HQ that provides our customers with an enticing look at the many products we sell! This person is responsible for taking premium product photos for Blade HQ's e-commerce websites. This job is fast paced, with hundreds of photos being taken and edited on a weekly basis. Beyond taking and editing images, this individual will be expected to have a firm grasp on product photography, Adobe Photoshop, and studio lighting. This is a full-time position that requires 30 hours per week minimum.

Tasks
- Photograph and edit images of inventory daily. 
- Color correct, retouch and resize images using Photoshop.
- Upload photos to our websites and keep an organized archive of all images.
- Coordinate image editing with vendors and source images as needed.
- Occasionally help copy-writing team expedite products through the posting process.
- Includes other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Skills
- Ability to work independently and produce hundreds of photos weekly.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Bridge and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of studio lighting, camera setup, and related troubleshooting.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Fast and efficient photographer/editor.
Physical Demands
- Safe handling of knives and other edged cutting tools.
- Sitting and viewing computer monitors for long periods (up to 8 hours).
- Occasionally lifting/carrying bins of product (5-20+ lbs.).
Work Environment
- Shared office work environment near a warehouse with bay doors that open throughout the day.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in photography and Photoshop required.
- College degree in photography preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- Full-time hourly position.
- 30 hours per week minimum.
- Attendance is required Monday through Friday starting no later than 9 am.
