We are actively interviewing qualified candidates for a Materials Supervisor position in our expanding Reclamations Department. If you have experience in aviation materials, inventory control, logistics, or warehouse operations, and you’re ready to step into a leadership role, this is an excellent opportunity to guide the daily flow of parts, tooling, and critical materials that keep aircraft operations running smoothly. In this supervisory position, you will oversee inventory accuracy, team performance, regulatory compliance, hazardous materials handling, and the coordination of high-paced materials operations. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Â
- Lead and manage Shipping and Receiving personnel, including but not limited to hiring, training, coaching, development, performance management, and accountability for productivity, quality, accuracy, and safety.Â
- Lead daily shipping operations supporting Reclamation harvest activities and external customers, working closely with the Reclamation Harvest & Woodshop teams to coordinate priorities, anticipate upcoming workload, and ensure removed components are processed, packaged, and ready for customer pickup in alignment with project milestones, customer deadlines, and committed turnaround times.
- Monitor department performance and the flow of material from aircraft removal through processing, packaging, and shipment readiness to ensure staffing and resources are aligned with Reclamation project schedules and customer commitments; identify bottlenecks and schedule risks early and partner with Reclamation leadership to take corrective action and develop recovery plans when needed.
- Serve as a primary customer focal point for shipping and material readiness, providing timely and accurate communication regarding status, priorities, shipment readiness, and potential delays.Â
- Maintain a strong understanding of customer Statements of Work (SOW), project requirements, and expectations to effectively balance customer service with business needs by supporting requests while appropriately identifying additional work, costs, or requirements outside of the agreed scope.Â
- Drive continuous improvement within Shipping by identifying inefficiencies, implementing process improvements, and developing more effective methods for processing, packaging, tracking, and delivering material.Â
- Prepare, verify, and process outbound shipments in compliance with company policies, and applicable international shipping regulations.Â
- Coordinate packaging, labeling, and carrier selection to ensure accuracy, compliance, and on-time delivery.Â
- Ensure hazardous materials are packaged, labeled, and shipped in accordance with IATA/ICAO and company requirements.Â
- Ensure adequate inventories are maintained.Â
- Maintain accurate shipment records and inventory movements within ERP/MRO systems.Â
- Ensure completion, filing, and retention of all required company paperwork.Â
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA, SMS, FAA, and company safety standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, materials, inventory, logistics, or a related operational environment.
- Computer proficiency, including MS Excel, MS Word, and inventory management systems.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain IATA, IMDG, Radiological Hazardous Materials Shipping, & forklift certifications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
- 3+ years shipping, receiving, materials, inventory, logistics, or a related operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft parts, aviation inventory control, and relate logistics software
- Prior experience in a heavy maintenance/MRO environmentÂ
- Material Logistics coursework or experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Â
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level.
- Occasional crawling, kneeling, or balancing.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Repetitive hand movements; good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Â
- The work location includes the stores, tool room, shipping and receiving, aircraft maintenance hangar, and designated outdoor areas.
- Equipment operated includes a telephone, copier, computer, forklifts, and motorized vehicles.
- Protective equipment required includes protective footwear, safety glasses, ear protection, and gloves.
- Potential hazards include high noise levels, residual odors, extreme temperatures, exposure to materials listed on Material Safety Data Sheets, and working around moving machinery.
OTHER DUTIES: Â
- May be required to work at both Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations as business needs dictate.
- Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of department management.Â
