The Cost Accounting Analyst will provide timely and accurate cost accounting and analysis to support a multi-brand wholesale/Direct to Consumer environment. This role is responsible for inventory valuation and analysis. This is a hybrid role; we work on site 4 days and remotely 1 day weekly.

- Analyze cost-of-goods-sold [COGS]: adjust as necessary, all components directly affecting COGS including variances related to freight, duty, and de-nesting
- Prepare Inventory Aging and propose necessary obsolete reserve adjustments
- Prepare reconciliation of Wholesale/DTC Inventory – including Consignment Inventory
- Prepare monthly entries pertaining to inventory and COGS section of the P&L
- Assist on yearly physical inventory counts
- Support monthly cost accounting close within SAP
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures/processes for the current tasks performed
- Prepare monthly/quarterly SOX controls
- Maintain monthly inventory reports
- Monitor inventory reserves
- Partner with finance and operations team
- Adhoc inventory analysis
- Partner with internal and external auditors
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures/processes for the current tasks performed
- Set Up Material Master Info for SKU’s
