About the Role:Â
Everyone Urgent Care LLC in Parrish, FL is looking for a motivated and skilled Medical Assistant/X-Ray Technician to join our fast-paced urgent care team. Responsibilities:Â
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging and ensure accurate, high-quality radiographic results
- Assist physicians and providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Conduct patient intake including vital signs, medical history, and chief complaint documentation
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper supply stocking
- Administer injections, draw blood, and collect lab specimens as directed
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in compliance with safety standards
- Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
- Provide compassionate patient education and support throughout the care process
- Assist patients during the registration process. Know insurance RTE and insurance verification
- Maintain the clinic's cleanliness and readiness for patient care
Requirements:
Â
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
- Limited Scope X-Ray License or Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification required
- Previous experience in an urgent care, clinic, or emergency setting preferred
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation
- Proficiency with insurance verification and registration
- Strong phlebotomy and clinical skills
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and patient-facing skills
- CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
