We are looking for a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Kitchen & Bath Designer / Sales Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, has an eye for design, and can help guide clients through the process of creating beautiful and functional kitchen and bathroom spaces.
You will support the sales and design team from the initial customer consultation through product selection, pricing, ordering, and project coordination.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with kitchen and bath design selections, including cabinets, countertops, fixtures, hardware, and accessories.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and product orders.
- Assist with kitchen and bath layouts and design presentations.
- Work with customers to understand their needs, style preferences, and budget.
- Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service throughout the sales process.
- Coordinate with designers, contractors, vendors, and installers as needed.
- Follow up with customers regarding quotes, orders, deliveries, and project details.
- Maintain accurate customer and project records.
- Help maintain an organized and professional showroom.
- Stay current on products, materials, finishes, and design trends.
- Support the sales team with administrative and day-to-day showroom responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in kitchen & bath design, showroom sales, retail sales, construction, or a related field preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Creative eye with an interest in interior design.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable working with measurements, dimensions, pricing, and product specifications.
- Basic computer skills; Proficiency in 2020 Cyncly design software is required or strongly preferred
- Ability to multitask and manage several customer projects at once.
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
