As a Resident Assistant at Dakota Pointe, you'll help residents live as independently and comfortably as possible while building meaningful relationships every day. What You'll Do Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, mobility, and personal care. Support residents with medications, exercise, and wellness routines as trained. Encourage independence, dignity, and choice while providing person-centered care. Help with light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, welcoming home. Accompany residents on outings, appointments, shopping trips, and recreational activities. Observe and report changes in residents' health or behavior to nursing staff. Complete documentation accurately and follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality guidelines. QualificationsEducation and Experience Required High school diploma or GED. Preferred Experience working with older adults, individuals with brain injuries, or individuals with disabilities. Direct support or healthcare experience preferred but not required. Certificates, Licenses, and Requirements Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within the required timeframe. Nurse Aide certification, if required by assignment. Medication Assistant 1 certification, if required by assignment. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record if operating agency vehicles.
