Recruiting Supervisor – Staffing

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Recruiting Supervisor to lead and support our recruiting team in a fast-paced, high-volume staffing environment.

This is a hands-on leadership position. The Recruiting Supervisor will oversee daily recruiting activity, help prioritize open orders, coach recruiters, track results, and ensure our team is consistently identifying and placing qualified candidates. When hiring volume increases or an urgent order comes in, this person should be comfortable jumping in and recruiting alongside the team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of recruiters

  • Manage daily recruiting priorities and open job orders

  • Ensure recruiters are actively working assigned positions and following up with candidates

  • Monitor recruiting activity, placements, starts, and hiring goals

  • Hold recruiters accountable for performance and follow-through

  • Assist with high-volume and urgent recruiting needs

  • Recruit, screen, and qualify candidates when additional support is needed

  • Review candidate quality before placement or client submission

  • Help coordinate hiring events and job fairs

  • Monitor job postings and ensure ads are current and accurate

  • Identify recruiting challenges and develop solutions

  • Coach recruiters on sourcing, candidate communication, interviewing, and closing candidates

  • Help reduce candidate fall-off, no-call/no-shows, and unsuccessful placements

  • Ensure recruiting notes and candidate statuses are accurate and up to date

  • Work closely with Operations, Onboarding, Scheduling, and Account Management

  • Provide regular updates on recruiting progress, challenges, and staffing needs

  • Support new account launches and large-scale hiring projects

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience required

  • Previous recruiting leadership or supervisory experience preferred

  • Staffing agency experience strongly preferred

  • Experience with high-volume hourly recruiting preferred

  • Strong leadership and coaching skills

  • Highly organized with excellent follow-through

  • Comfortable working with multiple open positions and changing priorities

  • Strong communication and candidate engagement skills

  • Experience with ATS and recruiting platforms, including Indeed

  • Hospitality, food service, housekeeping, events, or similar high-volume staffing experience is a plus
