JOB SUMMARY 

The Event & Engagement Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing high-quality events and programs that support organizational priorities, leadership and team member engagement, and community presence. This role ensures seamless logistics, strong stakeholder alignment, and a professional, well-executed experience from planning through post-event evaluation. The role is also responsible for managing event budgets and expenses and seeking ways to continuously improve with a stewardship mindset. 

Job Competencies – 

  • Plan & Execute Events
    • Lead coordination of assigned events and programming from planning to completion (meetings, retreats, community events, leadership engagements)
    • Develop timelines, program schedule documents, and contingency plans
  • Manage Logistics
    • Coordinate venues, vendors, catering, audiovisual needs, and materials
    • Oversee registration, attendance tracking, and on-site execution
    • Manage real-time troubleshooting during events
  • Engage Stakeholders
    • Partner with internal leaders and external partners to define event goals and requirements
    • Serve as primary point of contact for all event-related communication
    • Coordinate staff and volunteers supporting events
  • Support Communications
    • Assist with event invitations, materials, and promotional content
    • Follow up with presenters, vendors, attendees as needed to ensure event or program success
    • Ensure alignment with organizational branding and messaging
  • Track Budget & Outcomes
    • Validate and process event and program related expenses
    • Create and maintain expense tracking mechanism 
    • Deliver post-event summaries including attendance, photographs, feedback, and improvement opportunities

The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5 years of event and program coordination or related experience

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Strong collaborator and relationship-builder

  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused

  • Executes with professionalism and a high standard of quality

Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: 

  • Coordinating executive-level or large-scale events

  • Budget management and vendor negotiation

  • Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or community organizations

The base compensation range for this role is $22.47 - $40.09 hourly.
 

Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.  Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs such as shift differentials, clinical ladders, and other incentives that may be available for those in eligible positions.
