Johnson Truck Center, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for an Assistant Parts Manager at our location in Manassas, VA. The Assistant Parts Manager will work with the Parts Manager to strive to grow the department and make necessary decisions to maintain a profitable Parts Department. This individual will have experience working at a vehicle parts counter or experience with vehicle/heavy duty equipment parts or repair. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist management in achieving an acceptable operating profit for the department by increasing sales and gross profit dollars while also being aware and managing expenses appropriately
  • Assist in overseeing outgoing and incoming freight to minimize costs and maximize recovery charges
  • Review monthly financial reports with Key Performance Indicators and develop action plans to address any that are below specified goals
  • Recommend pricing strategies that balance volume, customer loyalty, and the cost of doing business
  • Actively identify prospects for volume sales (fleet operators or independent service and repair centers)
  • Occasional driving is required
