Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Temporary Equipment Operator.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards and procedures.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
  • Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
  • Check paper for correct type, size, color, and quantity.
  • Check plates for correct format.
  • Visually inspect forms throughout the run to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs and reorganize work as needed to meet changing deadlines and priorities.
  • Maintain knowledge of and follow all safety requirements for the job and equipment.

Your Shift: 7:00 am to 3:45 pm Monday - Friday

You Must Have:

  • Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and understand job instructions and specifications.

Requirements Within This Position:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.
  • Frequently required to move inside the facility.
  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying.

  • Ability to work within close tolerances.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good color discernment.
