Parts Specialist duties and responsibilities

A Parts Specialist needs to perform well under pressure and understand the fluctuating needs for various replacement parts to excel in the role. They’re responsible for keeping the business well-stocked and keeping customers happy. Some day-to-day Parts Specialist job duties include:

• Maintain optimal inventory levels
• Monitoring the current parts inventory
• Pricing parts to maintain profitability
• Receiving parts, including placing them into inventory and properly labeling them
• Helping customers find and purchase the correct parts
• Overseeing special orders and creating POs
• Collaborating with service managers to ensure all parts are available for repair jobs
• Greeting customers 
• Helping customers with service requests 
• Open and Closing WOs
• 
  

Requirements

Must be organized and detail oriented.  

Must be punctual 

Must be able to work as part of a team

Open to thinking outside the box and implementing new ideas

Must be a leader of change

Must be willing to work in a fun enviroment!
