What You’ll Do Day-To-Day

  • Perform a variety of the most complex engineering assignments in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks and resolution of field problems.
  • Provide highly technical assistance, inspiration, leadership and consultation on assignments and solutions.
  • Represent the Company in technical forums and external consultations.
  • Develop new and unique products, methods and systems and provides advanced, specialized consultation with customers.
  • Research and assess best practices, proposing methods and improvements.
  • Installs, troubleshoots, assembles and disassembles, repairs and maintains tooling and equipment at plant sites; may include equipment associated with refueling, inspecting and maintaining nuclear reactors and components.
  • Conducts routine and non-routine tasks, operates specialized equipment, takes measurements, extracts and compiles data regarding equipment and process performance; collates data on task and outage performance.
  • Develops calculations, tables, reports and related data; maintains maintenance logs and certification documents.
  • Develops maintenance procedures, problem reports, field schedules, and task close out reports, as needed.
  • Participates in planning and executing projects; assists in preparation of proposal and procurement documents.
  • May provide input to training materials and may conduct training, as needed. • Complies with all applicable safety and health rules including personal dose compliance. • Works flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service.
  • May require extensive travel to a variety of regional and remote job sites.
  • May/Will require unescorted nuclear site access

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of nuclear industry experience is required or extensive equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.    
  • Expert knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques, criteria and analysis.
  • Exceptional knowledge and recognized technical expertise of a technical specialty.
  • Ability to set strategy and vision for medium to large size organization.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with all  levels of staff and management, vendors and customers.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through managers/supervisors.
  • Excellent problem identification and resolution skills.

Total Rewards Package         

  • Salary: $150,000 - $212,000 per year, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
