Warehouse Supervisor

This position is located in Bowling Green, KY

Responsible for working directly with customer and CCL personnel to maintain an efficient supply of finished materials that meets the customer’s expectations and agreed upon targets.  Manage near site warehouse facility to include inventory, shipments and oversee training of additional warehouse staff.

Job Duties:

• Supervision of one or more material handlers assuring all CCL Policies and Procedures are followed and documented.
• Responsible for the safety of all personnel, warehouse assets and goods in alignment with CCL policies.
• Follow the safe operation and inspection of warehouse equipment and material movers as designated by CCL.
• Responsible for the receipt and storage of all incoming materials.
• Available to attend meetings with customer at production site.
• Assure accuracy in the shipments of labels to meet the customers schedule dates. Including the coordination with designated carriers to move the labels to the customer.
• Responsible for processing all customer callouts and insuring complete accuracy, from creation to picking and staging, etc.
• Oversee the entry of data and the accuracy of all transactions through warehouse information systems including customer returns.
• Provides CCL Plants with records, reports, logs, and documents as needed.
• Proficient in processing shipment documents.
• Responsible for cycle counting inventory and physical inventory counts as needed.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in written form to the customer and CCL personnel.
• Maintain and present a professional appearance at all times to both customers and staff.
• Prepare reporting to be used internally and externally.

Physical Requirements:

• Some heavy lifting required. Able to lift up to 30-60lbs. on a regular basis.
• Standing or sitting for long periods of time.
• Able to operate a forklift in compliance with OSHA regulations.

Work Experience Requirements:  

• Good math skills.
• Microsoft Office with experience in Excel Worksheets and email communication.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Independent thinker who has the ability to prioritize and troubleshoot.
• Great communication skills both verbal and written.

Education/Work Experience:

• High School Diploma (or Equivalent)
• 1-4 years of work experience related to warehousing and/or manufacturing.
