The Patient Care Technician assists patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures delegated and communicated by the licensed nurse. Â These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused care.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training and Combined equivalent experience and certification needed for function and level. Or equivalent educ/experience
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart AssociationÂ
- Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Association for Health Professionals OrÂ
- Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Center for Competency Testing OrÂ
- Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant - National Health career Association
Preferred qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma or GEDÂ Â Â Â
- 6 months of PCT experience in an acute care setting.
- 6 months of Phlebotomy experience.
