Transport Refrigeration of NW Arkansas, your local Thermo King dealer, is hiring a Mobile Refrigeration Technician to provide on-site service and repairs for transport refrigeration units, APUs, cab A/C systems, and heaters. If you're an experienced Reefer Technician, Refrigeration Technician, Diesel Technician, HVAC Technician, or Mobile Service Technician who enjoys working independently and serving customers in the field, we want to hear from you! Pay & Benefits $28.00–$40.00/hour, based on experience Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Ability to participate in an on-call rotation Occasional travel required PTO accrual starts Day 1 Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Multiple medical plan options Employer HSA contributions Employer-paid Life & Long-Term Disability Insurance 401(k) with company match after 1 year Training and professional certification opportunities Career growth opportunities ️ What You'll Do Operate a company service truck safely and maintain it in top condition Perform transport refrigeration unit repairs, service, and installations Service new and used refrigeration units Diagnose and repair cab air conditioning and heating systems Perform APU repairs and service Perform heater repairs and installations Travel to customer locations and perform mobile/road service Participate in on-call service as needed Manage service truck inventory, tools, and parts Schedule and manage your own workload based on customer needs Build customer relationships and help grow the mobile service route Complete service orders and documentation accurately Meet standard repair times while providing quality service Service and repair company vehicles and equipment ⭐ Why Join Us? Your own mobile service truck Work independently in a field-service environment Variety of refrigeration, HVAC, APU, and heating work Direct customer interaction and relationship building Training and certification opportunities Work for a trusted Thermo King dealership Long-term career growth in the transportation refrigeration industry ✅ What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred At least 3 years of experience in transport refrigeration, diesel, HVAC, APU, or mobile service Thermo King (TK) Certi-Tech certificate or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid, unrestricted driver's license DOT Medical Certification Ability to obtain/maintain EPA 608 and EPA 609 certifications Ability to obtain forklift certification Own toolbox and required specialty tools Strong communication and customer service skills Professional, dependable, and safety-focused attitude Ability to participate in on-call service and travel occasionally Physical & Work Environment This is an active mobile field-service position. Technicians must be able to lift to 75 lbs intermittently and 100 lbs occasionally and work from service trucks, lift gates, ladders, platforms, scaffolding, and creepers. Work may be performed outdoors and in varying weather conditions at customer locations.
