Position Summary

We are seeking a Producer & Director’s Assistant to join our team in creating animated content using experimental GenAI-native production pipelines. This role is a strategic partner to creative leadership, focused on driving the creative momentum of feature-quality content within Inkubator. The Assistant serves as a production-focused bridge and creative partner, helping manage workflows, artist communications, and production tracking in an artist-led environment. The ideal candidate is a tech-forward collaborator who can balance production logistics with an understanding of storytelling and the Producer/Director’s vision, maintaining agility as our experimental production pipelines evolve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and manage complex calendars for the leadership team, ensuring seamless coordination across high-priority internal and external partnerships.

  • Serve as a liaison, understanding the GenAI-native production strategy and how individual creative workstreams intersect with the studio's overall goals.

  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners and external tech/creative partners to support a frictionless experimental environment.

  • Orchestrate logistics for team offsites, on-sites, and reviews that drive creative momentum and team alignment.

  • Manage creative schedules and production calendars to ensure alignment with the project’s overarching production plan and creative milestones.

  • Facilitate creative reviews by setting agendas, ensuring the right stakeholders are present, capturing actionable insights, and facilitating rapid follow-through on key decisions.

  • Coordinating travel arrangements on a regular basis.

  • Processing expense reports in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in production coordination or as a creative assistant within animation, film, or experimental media.

  • Working knowledge of animation production workflows and asset tracking systems (e.g., ShotGrid or FlowPT) and Google Suite.

  • Creative mindset with the ability to translate a director’s vision into organized production tasks.

  • Independent worker with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects and switch easily between tasks.

  • Strong attention to detail at all times.

  • Displays professionalism in communication with internal and external partners.

  • Responsive and able to work flexibly across time zones.

  • Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information.

  • Strong judgment and ability to make decisions quickly or to gather necessary context for making decisions.

  • Team player who operates in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

  • Able to stay calm under pressure and work on short deadlines.
