Air-Cert, LLC is seeking an experienced Technical Records Coordinator to join our FAA Part 145 Repair Shop team. This role is central to the documentation and administrative workflow supporting incoming repair work, from receiving parts and work orders through final documentation and release. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable navigating technical data and aviation industry compliance requirements, and able to coordinate effectively across internal teams as well as externally with other quality departments. 

Compensation: 

  • The salary range for the Technical Records Coordinator position is $25.00-$30.00/hour based on experience and qualifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming work order parts and create work orders for customer repairs and teardowns.
  • Verify customer purchase order (PO) technical data and confirm scope of work is accurate and complete.
  • Coordinate documentation across the workflow through the repair process.
  • Review Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) and other technical/service data to support repair execution.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, service bulletins, technical bulletins, and customer POs.
  • Process 8130-3 forms for customer repairs and teardowns and submit final documentation to the Chief Inspector for review and approval.
  • Receive incoming repairs and verify repair requirements against customer specifications.
  • Act as a liaison with the Shipping/Receiving team to ensure all parts are properly documented and accounted for.
  • Communicate proactively with internal teams and customers regarding technical data, discrepancies, or missing information.
  • Request technical data through customer portals as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with ASA-100, FAA, and EASA regulatory requirements throughout the repair process.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Additional Responsibilities:

  • May perform special projects and other duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • At least 3 to 5 years of prior relevant experience in the aerospace industry in a technical role, preferably in a repair shop environment. 
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. 
  • FAA Repairman Certificate strongly preferred, but not required
  • Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings, service/technical bulletins, and customer purchase orders. 
  • Experience working with an ERP system (basic proficiency required); experience with AvSight is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of technical repair compliance standards (ASA-100, FAA/EASA) 
  • Experience navigating customer portals to retrieve technical data
  • Strong organizational, time management and mathematical skills. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, speak and write in English.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Must be authorized to work in the US and able to provide documentation as required by law
  • Highly dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic. 
  • Must successfully pass mandatory FAA Drug testing.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

This position works onsite in the Company’s office. 

  • Work is primarily performed in an indoor setting with minimal noise levels.
  • Regularly communicate in verbal and written form and able to hear.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Regular use of hands and fingers to type on a computer keyboard.
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 15 pounds.
