Job Summary
Lead a team of technicians in a fast-paced fleet maintenance operation, overseeing daily shop activities, vehicle repairs, and preventative maintenance. This role requires strong leadership, technical maintenance expertise, and the ability to prioritize work, coach employees, and ensure safe, efficient operations. Ideal candidates have experience with heavy-duty vehicle repairs, hydraulics, and managing maintenance shop workflows.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Oversees the day-to-day operations of employees in the maintenance shop.
- Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, and monitors progress and quality.
- Reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests and prepares work order documents.
- Performs mechanical duties as needed.
- Monitors inventory of replacement parts and restocks as needed.
- Oversees personnel including coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conducting disciplinary action as needed. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
- Interprets and ensures consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations.
- Creates and submits reports as necessary.

- High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
- 4 years of relevant work experience. (in addition to education requirements)
- Valid Driver's License Upon Hire

PAY: The expected base pay range for this office/on-site position is $85,000 $95,000 . This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay.
