Toddler Teacher – Early Childhood Education

Pay: $17–$18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Newark is seeking a caring and energetic Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team.

Our toddlers are busy developing language, independence, confidence, and friendships. We’re looking for a qualified teacher who can create a nurturing, structured classroom while turning children’s natural curiosity into meaningful learning experiences.

What You’ll Do

Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing Toddler classroom
Implement The Learning Experience’s L.E.A.P. Curriculum
Support language, movement, independence, and social-emotional development
Engage children through art, music, sensory play, and hands-on learning
Support meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions
Maintain consistent routines and positive classroom guidance
Observe children’s development and communicate with families
Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Follow Delaware childcare licensing requirements

What We’re Looking For

TECE 1 and TECE 2 required
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous toddler, daycare, preschool, or childcare experience preferred
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Patient, dependable, nurturing, and team-oriented
Must meet applicable Delaware childcare licensing requirements
