Certified Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our medical staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and nurses with patient care and treatment
• Obtain and record patient medical history and vital signs
• Prepare patients for medical examinations and procedures
• Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians
• Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
• Accurately scribe patient encounters in real time and document medical histories, physical examinations, treatment plans, and physician notes in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
• Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow
• Provide patient education and support

Requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program
• Certification as a Medical Assistant
•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends
