TITLE: Sr. Territory Sales Manager

 

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Sr. Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for selling building products like PVC Molding, Trim, Decking, Porch, Dock, Interior prefinished polystyrene moldings, etc.  Inteplast Building Products is a business unit of Inteplast Group, our parent company. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 15+ Years of proven sales experience as a Territory Manager in building products industry/materials i.e., PVC molding, trim, polystyrene molding etc. 
  • Sales and Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product innovation, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.  Strong negotiation and forecasting skills.
  • Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.   This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of resources.
  • Computers and Electronics — Proficiency in the latest technologies including computer programs like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.  Capable of using the Internet, email and cell phones.
  • Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records designing forms and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Bachelors in business, Marketing or related field
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement effective territory sales and marketing strategies
  • Analyze data to find the most efficient sales methods
  • Meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions
  • Discover sales opportunities through market research
  • Present products and services to prospective customers
  • Participate in industry or promotional events to cultivate customer relationships
  • Participate in training on sales techniques and company product attributes
  • Assess sales performance according to KPIs
  • Monitor competition within assigned region
  • Prepare and submit reports to the Regional Manager
  • Submit quotation requests and manage revisions and renewals

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS:

  • Remote work
  • Some travel required – approximately 2 times per month
  • Valid Driver’s license is required
