What you will do

We are building a pipeline of experienced engineering professionals to support current and future opportunities across our manufacturing, operations, and technical organizations. This evergreen role is intended for highly experienced engineers who excel at solving complex technical challenges, leading strategic initiatives, delivering business improvements, and driving engineering excellence across regulated manufacturing environments.

Successful candidates may contribute to large-scale projects, operational improvements, technical strategy development, equipment optimization, automation initiatives, reliability programs, and cross-functional business transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and engineering expertise across manufacturing, operations, quality, supply chain, and project teams.
  • Lead or support complex engineering projects from concept through implementation and operational sustainment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, reliability, productivity, sustainability, and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement technical solutions that support business objectives.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert in one or more engineering disciplines.
  • Evaluate risks, troubleshoot technical challenges, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Support equipment, process, facility, utility, automation, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Review and contribute to technical documentation, project plans, engineering standards, and operational procedures.
  • Leverage data analysis and industry best practices to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Influence technical direction, project priorities, and strategic decision-making through strong engineering judgment and collaboration.
  • Mentor engineering professionals and contribute to the development of technical capabilities across the organization.
  • Support compliance, quality, and operational excellence initiatives within regulated environments.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Significant experience in engineering, manufacturing, technical operations, project management, process improvement, automation, reliability, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams, functions, and organizational levels.

Preferred

  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience within pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer health, biotechnology, food, chemical, or other regulated manufacturing industries.
  • Experience supporting capital projects, operational excellence programs, manufacturing transformation, automation, or digital initiatives.
  • Familiarity with quality systems, engineering lifecycle processes, and regulatory environments.
  • Professional certifications related to engineering, project management, quality, reliability, or continuous improvement.

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$124,100.00 - $175,200.00
