Manly Bands is seeking a dynamic and passionate professional to oversee the company's overall operations and functions. This includes overseeing core business operations, including warehouse management, logistics, order fulfillment, manufacturing, quality control, operational systems, and customer service functions.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead operations to ensure Manly Bands hits the company's short and long-term goals.
  • Identify opportunities to improve scalability and efficiency.
  • Mentor, lead and develop Warehouse, Manufacturing and Customer Support managers and their respective teams to ensure optimal performance and professional growth.
  • Develop and implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Foster an improvement culture throughout the company to optimize inventory management, reduce manufacturing lead times, and improve customer satisfaction across all of our brands.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with operational processes, including those related to health and safety standards.
  • Work closely with other departments, including Product Development, Marketing, Finance, and People, to ensure seamless integration of operational processes with broader company goals.
  • Support product development in scaling operations for new product launches and initiatives for all of our brands.
  • Measure the effectiveness of all processes (budget, operations, and management, etc.)
  • Determine the company's strategic growth as part of the executive team
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and projects

What You'll Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
  • Certification in PMP, Lean Manufacturing, and/or Six Sigma; demonstrated experience may be substituted for certification
  • Operations Management: 7+ years of hands-on experience leading operations and operation teams effectively.
  • Project Management: Experience in leading projects and initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to manage and inspire teams.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the company's goals.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgeting, financial planning, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • People Management: Skills in recruiting, training, and motivating employees.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing data to optimize operations and make informed decisions.
  • Technology Savvy: Familiarity with the latest technologies and how they can improve efficiency. Extensive experience working in a sales environment, specifically in eCommerce
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Presentations)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
