*Training will take place M-F from 8-5 in our office in Kettering for 4-6 weeks. You will then be able to work remotely in your afterhours/weekend role. *

SUMMARYÂ
The Patient Scheduling Coordinator I (PSC) helps the field staff provide exceptional care by scheduling visits according to protocol. All patient and field staff inquiries or concerns are addressed courteously and promptly adding to the overall outstanding patient experience. The PSC I understands and practices all legal and company rules and regulations.Â

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
Staff/assign new clients to clinicians according to scheduling protocolsÂ
Matches patients with a field staff member by determining best match in clinical skill sets and personalityÂ
Responds promptly and courteously to all patients’ inquiries or problemsÂ
Collaborate with administrator/supervisor regarding client concerns or complaintsÂ
Coordinates day-to-day schedules for field staffÂ
Manage daily workflow in company databaseÂ
Process daily and weekly reportsÂ
Address missed, declines, unverified, and reassigned visits with field staffÂ
Understands and practices agency policies and proceduresÂ
Follows Medicare guidelines including: Low Utilization Payment Adjustment (LUPA), Re-assessment, and 13/19 supervisory visitsÂ
Participates in On-Call requirements which may be up to 3-5 times per quarterÂ
Attends all mandatory in-office meetingsÂ
Understands and practices all HIPAA regulationsÂ
Arrives at assigned location on scheduled work day. Works according to designated hours.Â
Accurate and efficient data entryÂ
Interpersonal, organizational and communications skillsÂ
Completion of work with computer, fax, copier and phoneÂ
Dexterity and vision to complete documentation on computerÂ
Completes and submits all required documentation within specified company requirementsÂ
Other duties as assignedÂ

QUALIFICATIONSÂ
At least one year of experience in the Health Care industry and experience in home care is desirableÂ
Ability to learn new database system, run reports and analyze dataÂ
Effective and clear oral and written communication skillsÂ
Ability to listen and work with a diverse group of peopleÂ
Ability to identify a problem, look for possible solutions, make a decision, and implement the course of actionÂ
Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritizeÂ
Must be able to handle confidential information with the utmost discretionÂ

EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALSÂ
High-School graduate or equivalent; Associates Degree preferredÂ
