Turn Your Management Experience Into a New Career

Are you currently managing a restaurant, retail team, or home-service operation—but ready for better hours, a new industry, and greater long-term opportunity?

Window Genie is hiring an experienced leader to enter our Operations Manager-in-Training program. You’ll begin by learning our services in the field, leading by example, and understanding the business from the ground up. As you develop, you’ll take on increasing responsibility for employees, customers, scheduling, quality, equipment, and daily operations.

Our goal is to prepare the right person to become a future Operations Manager as our company continues to grow. Advancement may include relocation to another Window Genie market, so candidates should be open to future opportunities outside Lexington.

Who We’re Looking For

This is not an entry-level management opportunity. Strong candidates will have:

  • Current or recent leadership experience in restaurant management, hospitality, retail management, or home services
  • Experience supervising employees and holding a team accountable
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to lead from the front
  • Confidence communicating with customers and employees

  • Comfort working outdoors, performing physical work, and using ladders
  • A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
  • Interest in building a long-term management career
  • Willingness to consider future relocation for advancement

Experience in window cleaning or pressure washing is not required. We can teach the technical work. We are looking for someone who already understands responsibility, urgency, customer service, and team leadership.

This Role May Be a Great Fit If You Are:

  • A restaurant manager ready to leave nights, weekends, and the food-service grind
  • An assistant manager who wants a clearer path to running an operation
  • A home-services crew leader or field supervisor looking for advancement
  • A hands-on leader who doesn’t want to spend the entire day behind a desk
  • Interested in helping recruit, train, develop, and retain a high-performing team

This Role Is Not for You If:

  • You want a management title without first learning the work
  • You are uncomfortable holding employees accountable
  • You are unwilling to work outdoors or climb ladders
  • You are looking only for a short-term job
  • You are not open to future relocation opportunities
