DEPENDABILITY MATTERS IN THIS ROLE.
This is a full-time, onsite position at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital. We are looking for someone reliable who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of showing up every day ready to be part of a team.
Please apply only if you can reliably work Sunday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and consistently commute to Ascension St. Vincent Hospital.

PURPOSE:
To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for filling and moving linen carts to assigned areas throughout the hospital. Provides a superior level of linen service in a friendly, professional, and timely manner while meeting established quality and safety standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Be on time and ready to work as scheduled
- Maintain excellent and dependable attendance
- Meet established hospital standards
- Follow all company safety rules
- Work effectively with a diverse workforce
- Follow directions provided by the team lead and supervisor
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Possess and maintain a positive, professional attitude
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in accordance with company policies
- Be able to work beyond the scheduled shift when necessary due to operational or transportation needs
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervision
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cross-train in other positions based on facility needs
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per day
- Ability to push and pull clean and soiled linen carts weighing up to 800 lbs. on wheels
- Sufficient manual dexterity to build and stock linen carts
- Ability to consistently perform physical activities including bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to accurately perform simple mathematics
