Job DetailsJob Location: Cobalt TN - Lenoir, TN 37771Job Title: Process Engineer Department: Engineering Reports To: Department Supervisor FLSA Status: Salary Summary:  The purpose of this position is to serve as a technical expert for Process Engineering. This position will assist in planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing process improvement initiatives and support operations in all areas of the manufacturing process.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Evaluate and solve production problems Assist in researching and developing new processes and procedures Document and update work instructions, standard operating procedures, and time observations of production processes Identify and remove/improve process non-value added elements Develop CAD layouts to optimize process and materials flow Work with supervisors to solve quality issues Participate in Continuous Improvement Events (Kaizen Events, 5S events, etc.) Other duties as assigned by Supervisor QualificationsQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
