Position Summary

GENISCi Health & Wellness is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical support, wellness services, patient education, care coordination, and nursing assessments. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support individuals across a variety of health and wellness needs while promoting safe, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate is passionate about preventive care, whole-person wellness, patient advocacy, and clinical excellence.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct nursing assessments and health screenings.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Provide patient education regarding health conditions, medications, wellness strategies, and preventive care.
  • Coordinate care among healthcare providers, specialists, caregivers, and community resources.
  • Monitor patient progress and assist with ongoing care management.
  • Administer nursing services in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
  • Perform and monitor intravenous (IV) therapy services when clinically appropriate and within the scope of practice.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement activities.
  • Support wellness initiatives, community outreach programs, and health education efforts.

Qualifications

Required

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or appropriate compact license.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. 
  • Must pass background check, TB screening, and meet all VDH personnel qualifications. 

Preferred

  • Experience in care coordination, home health, wellness, preventive care, or integrative health settings.
  • Experience with chronic disease management and patient advocacy.
  • Certification or demonstrated competency in Intravenous (IV) Therapy administration and management.
  • Experience performing IV infusions, hydration therapy, vitamin therapy, or related infusion services.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation systems.
