We’re seeking a highly motivated individual to join the team as a Logistics Supervisor in our Atlanta, GA location. The ideal candidate has a background in warehouse management and data driven problem resolution skills. We want someone who can drive process improvements, standardize our processes and eliminate the root cause of defects within the current system. This job will require exceptional communication and interpersonal skills while having the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. The successful candidate will be proficient at identifying /solving or escalating logistics challenges and possess a bias to get things done and deliver results while functioning as part of a team.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Manage local repair parts, service supplies, and equipment inventory and oversee operations for all products in the warehouse. 
  • Lead and supervise a team of coordinators located throughout the assigned Service Center(s).
  • Provide parts to internal and external customers by managing inventory levels through development of minimum and maximum inventory levels, consistent achievement of acceptable “turns” and minimizing slow-moving and obsolete parts. 
  • Prioritize transactional accuracy in the warehouse to maximize profitability and minimize variances.
  • Oversee regular cycle counts and promptly reconcile issues.
  • Ensure established policies and procedures are being followed in accordance with direction from management.
  • Oversee the operations of local “counter sales” and optimize gross margin through increased sales volume. 
  • Ensure warehouse productivity and profitability through the execution of seamless and efficient transfer of parts and accessories to technicians, service vehicles, and parts cages. 
  • Work closely with other locations’ Logistics teams to meet customer service expectations at all levels. 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers. 
  • Be open and prepared to actively participate on the company’s safety committee and oversee facility safety inspections.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

What we’re looking for: 

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years’ warehouse experience preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience leading and managing a team required.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Strong ability to lead, persuade, motivate, and influence others. 
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with strong attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Strong organizational skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of programs.

Candidates must be able to*:

  • Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and tools
  • Reach with hands and arms
  • Stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed.
  • Lift and/or move up to 50lbs., and occasionally up to 100lbs. 
  • Work in environments with exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles.
